Posterous is a simple web publishing platform,started in May 2009 and initially funded by Y Combinator. It eases out the task of uploading text and files via email and is integrated with automatic posting to other social media tools such as Twitter, Flickr and Facebook.
Posterous enables the users to post in a way similar to other blogging platforms.It is basically designed for mobile blogging but also has the conventional way of posting through rich text editor at the website.Posting through mobile includes sending mails with attachements of photos, MP3s, documents and video.It is a promising platform when it comes to lifestreaming.
